Make a UPI QR code to get paid

Scan & pay with any UPI app
Your name
yourname@bank
GPay · PhonePe · Paytm · BHIM · any bank app
Test it once: scan with your own phone and check the name your bank shows before you share it. The QR only carries your UPI ID, so money goes straight to your bank. We never see it.
Selling regularly? A Vyrel store takes UPI at checkout, sends receipts, and charges 0% platform fee.

Is it safe to share a UPI QR code?
Yes. The QR only contains your UPI ID and name, the same thing you'd tell someone to pay you. Nobody can take money out of your account with it. Never share your UPI PIN or approve a 'collect' request you didn't expect.
Should I set a fixed amount?
Set one when everyone pays the same price, like a workshop seat or a printed zine. The payer can't change it in most apps. Leave it blank for tips and custom orders.
Which apps can scan it?
Any UPI app: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, CRED and every bank app. They all read the same standard upi://pay link.
Where do I find my UPI ID?
Open your UPI app and tap your profile photo. It looks like name@okaxis, number@ybl or name@paytm.
Can I accept money for my business on a personal UPI ID?
For a few payments, people do. Banks can limit personal UPI IDs that get lots of business payments, and you won't get automatic receipts or GST invoices. Once you sell regularly, use a checkout that gives each buyer a receipt and settles to your bank.
